Top rating for Bayreuth physics

In the latest university ranking by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), the physics study programme at the University of Bayreuth achieved 4.6 out of 5 stars in the "General study situation" category, making it the best-rated physics programm programme in Germany.
The University of Bayreuth is also among the leaders in other categories such as "Teaching programmes" and "Support". "This great result impressively confirms our Bayreuth education and support standards and how highly these are appreciated by our students," says Professor Stephan Gekle, Managing Director of the Institute of Physics. Further innovations such as student laboratories and innovative teaching concepts are expected to further improve the study programmes from the coming winter semester.
With around 120,000 students surveyed, the CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive and detailed comparison of universities in the German-speaking world. The complete results are publicly available in the Zeit study guide at studiengaenge.zeit.de/ranking.
